SWG will let you live in the Star Wars universe with all the familiar locations and equipment from the movies. There isn't a best or worst out of those options although I'm sure many would try and tell you otherwise. Much like Lineage2 I suspect there are some language and racial issues aswell in the game due to the differing views of eastern and western players (being totally different outlooks on how the game should progress). I wouldn't say one is better than the other mainly because Ryzom isn't out yet and its not really a fair comparison against 2 games that have been out more than a year now.įrom what I have heard, FF has an incredibly steep level mill and the friends of mine who did play it quit after a few months due to boredom/frustration/whatever. if my other choices don't work out then I'm sure you'll see me there. If I hadn't already decided my next steps in the world of MMO's then Ryzom would be next on my hit list. I won't be buying it (have my sights aimed elsewhere for my MMO fix) but it is definately worth more than a passing glance. You can check out the open beta if you want to see for yourself, available from Fileplanet at the moment, not sure of any other hosts though.
The skill system has similarities to SWG in some respects but is unique enough to keep things interesting. The world is simply amazing and the overall feel of the game is really neat. It has sci-fi elements mixed with Fantasy twists aswell. Providing you are willing to overlook moer than a few ****** systems and features of the game its a good Star Wars epic. If you like Star Wars and actually Roleplay the game rather than treating it as a set of numbers to increase then you will enjoy it to no end. BUT, despite all that it is still a fun game providing you don't go all out and try to 'win' like so many players do. There are now so many major issues yet to be addressed that it woudl take days to list them all. I am a current player of SWG and I am a beta tester for Ryzom so I can comment on those two with some degree of authority However, I have not played FF (I'm not a fan so I don't care all that much) but I do have several friends who have.

The SWG 14 day trial has been closed for sometime now sadly. Overall, I cant decide which mmporg, but starwars looks soo nice < Gets the feeling nobody will rate ryzom because shitall have played it >.>
I want youuuuu guys you mustve played them before critizising to tell me what you think of the three selections, if youve played them ofcourse =D and what you thinks the best Im considering ff as ff + its two expansions is being released for $90 =>īut I really cant make up my mind as I dont have a hands-on experience of them (seeing as my old dell couldnt run the beta clients of sw + ryzom. I like final fantasy because im an ff finatic, finished 6,7,8,9,10 o and without one dull moment I like ryzom because its classy, something new and by the looks.rather exciting. I like starwars because to be able to play in the universe I loved as a kid would be great
These are the only 3 I like, but i cant decide. Ive gone through a long list of reviews, screenshots and anything else you can think of through a list of most of the available mmporgs.or atleast the popular ones. My selection (im only getting one) is out of.
